JULY - Bienvenue!
Routines rock, but what if you’re falling out of them?
It’s not always easy to stick to our routines, especially during the bright summer months. Even more so this year, after being on hibernation for over a year. It’s fun to be out and about and easy to loose track of time and track of our routines. Sometimes, we’re too hard on ourselves if not following the routines we’ve envisioned to have. That’s counterproductive, accept your different summer schedule, enjoy the beauty of being out and about. Finding joy in a new routine can be a powerful way to go about your every summer day
MUST DO’S.
Summers in Zurich are a magic time of the year! Swimming in the lake is an absolute must. Picnic on the pier and take a dipp after work or take a swim during lunch break. The Zurich saviour-vivre!
Morning flow at the lake We all know the saying about the golden morning hours. There’s nothing more peaceful, but starting your day with a quick swim in the lake Zurich, followed by a morning yoga flow, and a lovely juice or coffee from adjacent Monocle café or Juicery21, where locals and internationals meet. It’s sooo worth to get up this extra hour AND reward yourself for it.
Summer in the city is Apéro time. We Swiss are obsessed with apéro, we even organize apéro only weddings and other get to gather gatherings around an apéro. Meet your friends at the lake for a apéro or picnic. It’s easy, casual, and low key.
Every Friday we bike for freedom in the city. Join the Bike Demo, a peaceful gathering of families, hipsters, young, and old. Biking for safer and better bike lanes in the city. Sooo needed!!! Fun contrast to the posh part of the city. A relaxing, happy get together. Just biked along with my fixie.
MUSE HAVE.
Summer outfits are to be simple, stylish, and ready for all activities. I love the TOTEME swim suits, together with FilippaK silk shorts, and the Salvatore Ferragamo moules. It’s my summer uniform for both work and leisure. I can meet patients and after work take a swim, apéro, or dinner out.
MUST KNOW.
Swiss women celebrate freedom to vote this year. It’s only 50 years ago, that Swiss women were given the liberty to vote. The freedom of their own personality. It’s so much to still be accomplished, that’s why UNE SUR CENT wants to make a difference.
MUST SEE.
During the summer month, the Women’s bath is a place of female power, the atmosphere is calm in the morning, packed over lunch, and vibrant in the evening. The view over the city and the mountains is breathtakingly beautiful! A pure gem in the middle of the city.
MONTLY CRUSH.
We are so in love with the new Hermes heel summer sandals and the swim suit, lol as you know founder Simone is obsessed with swim suits. She has been hesitant in buying them, but yessss, they’re superb! Comfortable and stylish at the same time. The perfect summer combination!
“Female expression of complete ecstatic pleasure, expressed with the highest level of self-confidence, entitlement. There’s nothing more erotic than that.”
— Dr. Simone Schwank, Founder UNE SUR CENT
